The Yomut are a Turkmen tribe whose rugs are unusually colorful and geometric. Rather than holding to one emblem like the Tekke, they build their fields from several alternating medallions, above all the dyrnak and the kepse güls.
The result is a busier, more angular rhythm than the disciplined repetition of Tekke weaving or the open, monumental güls of the Ersari.
